I wondered if we could have it wear Premium users had the option to comunacate with PQN while invisible? What do you all think?
Too difficult. All members have the option of sending private mail while they're invisible. Besides, how would the recipient of the PQN reply? Even if the invisible person's username appeared briefly in the send to combo box, if the person refreshed, it would be gone straight away. I can't see how this could work.
True, didn't think of that part, I just like to go invisible to get away from some people but then I indup leaving others I wish to speak with.
That's what private mail is for. Perhaps use that to communicate from within your shadow instead.
cant talk and do things at the same time like the quick notes, I would have to stop and then go check the messagesand come back, doesn't work grate if I am playing a game.
that's a good point but there may be a way around it. if you were engaged in a conversation with someone while invisible, you could have two browser windows open - one at the game and one at your messages. I don't think posting a message in one window would stuff up the game in the other. I could be wrong about that though - it's only a suggestion. Either way it's easier than trying to code a way to send QN's while being invisible.
If it is only certain users you want to get away from, why not put them on ignore and/or turn off publics?
Just a suggestion
I really don't think that's a valid point here. Nicky mightn't be trying to get away from anyone; sometimes it's just nice to be in a corner without anyone knowing you're there... except apparently the person or two she wishes to talk to.
if an invisible user able to send pqn, what is the point of being invisible. if you are invisible but wanting to talk to a certain user, there's other way to talk to them such as messenger, skype, or as donkey suggested, private mail. if you want to stay talking but not wanting people to bug you, you can simply turn your public off, and stay on pqn.
I know private mail can be a pain because it has none of the convenience of quicknotes, but I think it's the best way.
